YT Shield Pro ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension that blocks advertisements on YouTube. This privacy policy explains what data the Extension does and does not collect.

Data Collection

YT Shield Pro does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data. The Extension has no analytics, no tracking, no telemetry, and no external server communication of any kind.

The only data the Extension stores is:

- A boolean value representing whether the Extension is enabled or disabled

- An integer count of how many ads have been blocked

Both values are stored locally on your device using Chrome's built-in storage API (chrome.storage.local). This data never leaves your device and is never accessible to anyone other than you.

Permissions

The Extension requests only the permissions necessary to block YouTube ads. No permission is used to read, collect, or transmit your personal information, browsing history, or any other user data.

Third-Party Services

YT Shield Pro does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or analytics platforms.
